Luxury Estates Mauritius is a real estate brand that brings together some of Mauritius’ most prestigious estates: Azuri Ocean & Golf Village, Anahita Mauritius, Mont Choisy Golf & Beach Estate…
Building on their reputation and a set of common values, these estates have accordingly joined forces to produce a property investment guide.
In Other Words was tasked with writing the white paper. It consists of three chapters: economic data about Mauritius, the island’s advantages as an investment destination, and information about the purchasing process.
Real estate, a crucial Mauritian industry
At first, we conducted a series of interviews with experts in the field. These included notaries, private banking departments and the Economic Development Board.
Real estate is indeed a crucial part of the Mauritian economy. By allowing foreign buyers to invest in the country, the government aims to attract much-needed FDI. In Other Words’ in-depth knowledge of the sector and its fiscal and regulatory framework was therefore a real asset on this project.
End to end project management
Having written the contents of this almost 100-page-long guide, we supervised its layout in partnership with the Mediatiz team.
Detailed project management is essential to this type of editorial job; it’s important to highlight the right information. In this case, we used infographics, images and written excerpts to achieve that goal. We also reworked the original content as we went along in order to do the information justice.

Thanks to this new platform, UBP is able to raise awareness of its expertise while sharing the Group’s latest news and giving a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes of its brands (including UBP, Drymix, Espace Maison and Gros Cailloux).
In 2019, Mauritian hospitality group Indigo Hotels undertook an extensive renovation of Le Suffren Hotel & Marina, one of its flagship hotels in Port Louis. During the refurbishment, the establishment closed completely for a three-month period.
In partnership with Lemon agency and In Other Words, Le Suffren carried out a communications campaign to raise awareness of its renovation and reopening.
The objectives were to:
Publicise the hotel’s complete transformation
Give the establishment’s communications a bit of personality
Reaffirm the hotel’s importance to the island’s cultural and natural heritage
Among other things, our team:
Created posts for social media
Scripted promotional videos to be shared online
Wrote a wide variety of communication materials (a press kit, the contents of an edition of Flare magazine that was dedicated to the renovation, a brochure, factsheet, newsletter…)
Translated print ads.
And finally, one of our team was also the face of the campaign! She appeared in its videos, carried out interviews, featured in photos for the hotel’s communication supports and print ads…
Since June 2020, we’ve helped Marie Meunier, the pastry chef at LUX* Hotel Grand Gaube, strengthen her online presence and build her reputation. In particular, we’ve been showing off her know-how by managing her Instagram account.

From 2017 to 2020, we worked with VLH (Veranda Leisure & Hospitality), running the group’s blogs.
We planned and created content for each of its brands: Veranda Resorts, Heritage Resorts, and Colours. Veranda Resorts and Heritage Resorts’ blogs are aimed at clients, while Colours targets the group’s partners and tour operators.
